The masterminds at RENM Performance have taken the BMW E92 M3 and given it a persona of being a real trouble starter. They call it the "Agitator" and boy does it get me all fired up inside! This upgrade for the BMW E92 M3 by RENM is both cosmetic and performance driven because lets face it, if it was only cosmetic this M3 would only be shaken..... not stirred. The M3 is already the benchmark of performance vehicles for many automotive companies producing sub-supercar vehicles. That's not to say that there aren't any room for improvements.

The Agitator upgrade vastly improves the driving dynamics of the M3. Some of the tuning modifications include a re-flash of the ECU, inconel high-performance exhaust, carbon fiber air intake system, sports air filters and an adjustable ride height/dampening suspension to help with those pesky twisties. Power has increased from 420bhp/309ft-lb of torque to 450bhp and 331ft-lb of torque. Staying true to BMW's mantra, RENM's goal wasn't peak power for this tune, it was more usable, linear power and performance across the entire power band. They have specifically focused on utilizing a great deal more of power at the low-end where BMW's tend to lack their thrust.

The M3 Agitator uses inconel Formula 1 exhaust technology. This comes in handy when tracking the car as this exhaust is extremely stable and heat resistant. Some of the notable visual improvements made to this M car include a set of T6 forged 3 piece wheels, adjustable coilover suspension, hallmark-designed 76mm exhaust pipes, an aero carbon fiber front splitter, carbon fiber trunk and a carbon fiber rear diffuser.
