The Nissan Yuki-onna Concept was conceived by Alfredo Marin Garcia. Garcia is a transportation design student in IED Barcelona and has created this eco-friendly racer for the lead foots of tomorrow. The inspiration for this concept comes from the Japanese figure of a woman laying in the snow. The Nissan Yuki-onna Concept follows the distinct design language of the Japanese automaker with an aggressive, futuristic appeal and an eco-friendly soul. I can certainly see a bit of the Nissan 370z, Nissan Juke, Nissan GTR and even a bit of Nissan's luxury brand Infiniti used throughout the concept.
The Nissan Yuki-onna Concept takes the idea of a four-door-coupe and gives it a bit of a twist....literally. The concept features scissor-like doors upfront and sliding doors in the rear making it optimal for passengers to get in and out of the vehicle while exemplifying a bold statement in automotive excellence. The chassis of this car is comprised entirely of carbon fiber and is powered by four electric motors that reside at each wheel. This is an excellent iteration on the future of the automobile and one of the most realistic approaches out there.
