The German automobile magazine GRIP really gets the pick of the litter when they are constructing their editorial review calendar and this time is NO different. These chaps get behind the wheel of the fierce Manhart BMW M3 V8R Biturbo. This M3 has been fitted to the twin turbo 4.4liter V8 drivetrain straight from the BMW X6 M, which on it's own is good for a hearty 555bhp. Still, being slightly on the "stockish" side, this wasn't good enough for the deranged engineers at Manhart, so with a little ECU remapping and a new exhaust system, this BMW M3 pumps out over 700bhp. With a base price of near $200,000 for this level of performance I'd say you have a real bargain on your hands.
