BMW Group Research and Technology (BMW Forschung und Technik GmbH) announced a project today that’s been in the works for quite some time now. BMW has named the product Pathfinder (the technology is referred to as microNavigation), and it’s a complimentary technology to the Navigation system that BMW equips their vehicles with.

VW Magazine for iPad
Volkswagen is the latest automaker to jump into the bandwagon of Apple’s iPad by developing a digital customer magazine as an app specially for the tablet computer. The magazine goes by the name DAS, which stands for “Digital Automotive Space”.
