Hurth, Germany based tuner, Sport Wheels, has taken Audi's topless beauty and given it an upgrade inside and out. Performance upgrades on convertibles are always welcomed due to the additional weight that they tend to pack, but suffer on the track because of the loss in body-rigidity through the elimination of the roof. This makes the art of a fine tuning process harder because you have to be able to effectively use the power you're putting into the vehicle, otherwise it's just wasted efforts. Sport Wheels has created the Galactic package for the V10 R8 Spyder offered in two stages. Stage 1 includes a basic software upgrade that bumps the Audi from 525bhp to 565bhp while the Stage 2 upgrade packs an incredible 600bhp through a more aggressive software upgrade and thanks to the addition of a sport exhaust.

Cosmetic upgrades include OZ Ultraleggera wheels with 8.5"x20" wheels in the front and massive 11"x20" wheels out back. These lightweight wheels add to the aggressive look and performance of this V10 R8 nicely. To put all of that power to the asphalt, Sport Wheels has given the vehicle a suspension overhaul and added a model 3 HLS 4 coilover suspension kit. On a convertible packing this much power I'd say the suspension kit is a must have. The Stage 1 kit will cost you $1,922, while Stage 2 runs for $7,519 and the suspension overhaul goes for $9,415. This is one Spyder you don't want to get bit by!
